Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) in First Nation Schools: Evaluating Scale-Up in New Brunswick

Funded by the First Nation Education Initiative, Inc., this project aimed to evaluate the implementation of a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) program in elementary schools in three pilot First Nation communities in New Brunswick.
In collaboration with participating communities and school principals and SEL champions in each school, our team examined school-level and community-level experiences and impacts as the SEL program was implemented in K-6 classrooms. This work sought to fully understand
